Homecoming prep
Well, we are officially in high school. The first dance happened this weekend. Kenzie and I took the day to go into Seattle and get her hair and make up done.

Because it's Veterans Day, kids have no school. We decided to make a quick trip over Thursday night to the beach. We did not, however, plan on the Narrows bridge being closed. The highway was a complete parking lot as we waited four hours. We finally got off and took the Vashon ferry, drove the length the Vashon and took the next ferry to Southworth, so that we could drive from Port Orchard to the beach. It was a 6 1/2 hour commute. This is a picture from the midnight ferry ride.
Cowboys
Ed decided to take Mason on horseback riding lessons. Mason had to be appropriately attired with new boots. They go every week.
Crab casting
This video doesn't show the multiple tosses where the line broke and the chicken leg went flying down the beach.
