The kids have so much fun together. Lots of play and laughter and no drama. It's a perfect team.

Almost swimming
Kenz is so patient with Ermias, carried him around from pool to pool, day after day. He now is comfortable standing where he can touch, diving under with her, and swimming in very shallow water.
Soccer
The World Cup has been going on while we were here, with the biggest game being Brazil versus Germany. With our German family and Caio, Sarah's Brazilian exchange student, we were torn. Germany won so it's easier from here.
And of course there has been some soccer played here.

16 Averills on an Island
Randy and Sary-Jo invited us to their Hawaiian vacation (well, I think there was an invitation but I know for sure they told us they were going). Ended up being 16 of us, including Grammy and Grampy. This has been such a great vacation. We kept very busy with both group and small-group activities. Most of our meals we cooked in our condos in Ko'Olina. We swam every day and are varying shades of red to dark brown.

We took a charter snorkel trip. it was planned everyone included activity. We saw dolphins, flying fish, and even got to swim with a turtle. Kenzie and Mason are both fish themselves and went everywhere on the snorkeling tour. Ermias hopped in the water with me and immediately put his face and to see the fish below. He stayed in for quite awhile and then got cold and went back to the boat. He has gotten so much braver in the water every day!
