Salmon Days

One of our kids favorite things about living in is a qua is going to Salmon days. This year they each went either together or with friends. They love free ranging in their town.

Fall cuts

I had the boys today so we went for fall sheerings. Janet stopped by to say hi before she headed back to Switzerland. 

China

With a population of 24 million people, I found Shanghai to be a cosmopolitan hub mixed with rich history. I cannot say I saw this immense city within 5 days, but I can say that I will look forward to coming back and seeing more. New perspective on mainland China.

Homecoming

Kenzie has a great group of friends who went to homecoming this year. They all came over for pictures at our place ahead of time.






I am still needed, not only to provide a house, but beyond. And yes I had to get it on video.

Permitted

She's in drivers ed and has a permit. You know what that means...insurance goes up soon.

Not a shutout, but...

Mason's team lost 1-4 against a very good, big team. (They had some kids that looked like men.) The coach gave him a special call-out in an email:

Bike lesson

We got mason a new bike for his birthday because his last one got stolen at the library. He didn’t lock it up because he said he didn’t know the code. So made sure to buy him a new lock and practiced the code with him. Made him promise to use the lock every time. Today Cindy went to his school and noticed the brand new bike, first day mind you, unlocked. So she put it in her car and took it home. After school he ran into the office panicked. The lady laughed at him and said “call your mom.”

Barcelona

Our final stay took us back to Barcelona. We were 1 week past the terrorist attack in La Rambla.

Valencia

We LOVED Valencia. We found an amazing house, a block from the beach, 7 bed/6 bath, and a pool. The toughest part of the day was deciding between pool and beach.
